This hands on 90 minute workshop teaches you all you need to know to beautifully wrap gifts in fabric using the Japanese technique of Furoshiki.
Each participant will leave with a detailed workbook containing the history of Furoshiki, information on the sizes of Furoshiki to guide fabric purchases and detailed instructions on how to wrap various items.
Class size is limited to eight people, all ages welcome.
A light dessert along with all materials; fabric, variable box sizes, bottles and books, is provided.

Learn to Quilt - Christmas Stocking Edition
Class Time: Sunday 9:00am - 3:30pm December 4th (register here)

This full day workshop teaches the basics of patchwork quilting on a domestic sewing machine through creating a quilted Christmas stocking.
Each participant will leave with a detailed workbook containing key techniques of patchwork quilting (which can be translated to any quilted project, garments to traditional quilts (blankets) and their finished stocking.
Class size is limited to four people, ages 12+
Class includes: Workbook, pattern and instructions, black and white thread, batting, sewing machine and tools.
A platter, snacks and hot/cold drink will be provided throughout the day. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch.
Participants are required to provide their own fabric and matching thread (where black and white is not suitable).

Fabric A - Fat quarter or 45cm x 53cm (quilting cotton)
Fabric B - Fat quarter or 45cm x 53cm (quilting cotton)
Lining - 0.6m (quilting cotton)
Note: the lining is used for the top binding and loop, if you wish to use a different fabric for this please purchase a fat quarter for the binding/loop and 0.5m of the lining fabricMatching thread (optional)

This hands on 90 minute workshop guides you through the process of creating your own wreath.
Two wreath options are available, felt winter leaves and wool pompom (colour options available on request). The wreaths are beautiful on their own, or add your own ornament to personalise.
Each participant will leave with a completed wreath.
Class size is limited to eight people, all ages welcome.
A light dessert along with all materials; ribbon covered foam wreath, felt, wool, hot glue gun and glue, is provided.
Please note: This class involves hot glue, younger participants are encouraged to be accompanied by an adult.
