Victorian Corset
Ages 16+
Time: 9am - 4pm
Date: 7th - 8th March 2026
Cost: $410 (includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea)
This two day course will teach you everything you need to know to make tailored corsets. All materials are included (fabric, boning, machine etc). Over the two days you will complete a corset muslin (practice) for fitting and a final corset made from black coutil.
A full workbook and take home pattern will be provided.

- selecting size
- adding seam allowance to pattern pieces
- constructing a muslin
- how to fit a corset
- corset materials and fabrics
- how to sew with coutil
- how to insert boning into a unlined corset
- how to insert a busk
- lacking techniques
Class sizes are limited to four students allowing for one on one support and student specific tailored teaching.
