Cloning Clothes

Time: 9am - 4pm
Date: 22nd February 2026
Cost: $140 (includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea)

After this workshop you will walk away with a clone of your favourite item of clothing.
This course will run through the process of cloning both woven and knitted fabric, from making a pattern, applying adjustments and sewing your own version of an item of clothing.

What we will cover:
Developing a pattern from an existing piece of clothing (please bring an item to clone) and deconstructing the construction process
Cutting and commencing sewing of your garment
Sewing your garment

A full workbook detailing the process will be provided. Machine use, tools and consumables are included in the course.

You will need to bring an item to clone, and supply fabric for the cloned garment (information will be provided prior to the course)

Class sizes are limited to four students allowing for one on one support and student specific tailored teaching.
